Robotic Welding Technology
What is robotic welding?
As a one-stop metal fabrication shop, LaserNett uses robotic welders to assist in the welding of metal components.
Robotic welding uses mechanized programmable tools to assist in the welding process. Robotic welding is an automated process that automatically handles and welds parts together. Robotic welding is commonly used for resistance spot welding and arc welding in high production applications
There are two popular types of welding robots; articulating and rectilinear robots. Articulating robots employ arms and rotating joints and these robots move like a human arm with a rotating wrist at the end. Rectilinear robots move in line in any of three axes (X, Y, and Z) and also there is a wrist attached to the robot to allow rotational movement.
Reasons why to use LaserNett’s robotic welding service:
- Great for large run metal fabrication and prototypes
- Extremely accurate
- Excellent quality standard
- Fast production turn-around
